Laurel Bristow received her Masters of Science in the Control of Infectious Disease from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where she did her thesis research on maternal and neonatal hospital-acquired sepsis in Stone Town Zanzibar. She has spent the last decade working on public health issues such as HIV and Tuberculosis, and now COVID-19.  In 2018, Laurel joined the Hope Clinic to help build the inpatient research program at Midtown Hospital and currently serves as the hospital site lead.
